There are many ways that you can help continue the traditions at Camp Toccoa. Gifts of cash and securities provide flexibility to meet the needs at camp every day while in-kind donations help to keep costs down and enhance our programs and facilities. We appreciate your support!

Camp Toccoa Torchbearers

Torchbearer's Desire

That light which has been given to me, I desire to pass undimmed to others.

We all know that moment when the first torch enters the dark council fire and the way that the fire grows as each torch is added. Whether we have carried that torch ourselves or watched the procession, we have all brought our light to camp during our time there. In celebration of that light, we invite you to join the Torchbearers.

As a torchbearer, you choose your level of support and the corresponding monthly gift. If you would prefer not to commit to giving monthly, you may also choose to give a one-time gift.

As we enter our camp's ninth decade, it is time for us as alumni to find new ways to care for our camp and ensure that thousands more children get to experience the same summer magic that we grew up with.

One important aspect of our involvement is a financial commitment to camp. Torchbearers make a commitment to support the camp on a monthly basis through a recurring charge on a credit card. By spreading payments out over the year, it is more possible for each of us to make the kind of generous contribution that we would wish for our camp.

Why monthly giving makes sense for our camp

As you can imagine, we have expenses such as insurance and maintenance all year, but most of our revenue comes in the summer. Making a monthly donation helps to even out funds in the remaining months, better enabling us to prepare for camp and grow during the off-season.

Gifts can be made in honor of a favorite counselor, cabinmate or family member. All gifts will be recognized in our annual report, unless you specifically indicate otherwise when making you contribution.
