About Us and Contact Information

Camp Fire USA Georgia Council

Camp Toccoa is owned and operated by Camp Fire USA, a national youth organization founded in 1910. The Georgia Council of Camp Fire USA serves approximately 1,500 youth each year with the mission to 'build caring, confident youth and future leaders.' Through Camp Fire USA Georgia Council, Camp Toccoa operates both an overnight and a day camp in the summer. Camp Fire USA Georgia Council also offers club programs, family activities and year-round camping opportunities throughout the state.

Camp Toccoa

Since 1927, Camp Toccoa has been a place for young people to challenge themselves, discover the natural environment, make friends and develop new skills. During the summer, Camp Toccoa offers a traditional overnight camping program as well as a day camp program. Camp Toccoa also runs several different adventure-based specialty camps, a horseback camp as well as a counselor-in-training program. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Toccoa's 176 acres include a lake, hiking trails, waterfalls, nature center, swimming pool, dining hall and historic lodge. Campers can experience the history as well as the beauty of the natural world around them in Camp Toccoa's safe and fun environment.

Club Programs

The motto of Camp Fire USA is 'to build caring, confident youth and future leaders,' and that is the goal of our club programs. Camp Fire Clubs bring together dedicated adult leaders who work with youth in their community to participate in fun activities, go on field trips, and earn honors and awards. Our club programs also make it possible for youth to experience the outdoors and have exciting adventures, not only at summer camp, but all year-round! If you are interested in joining a club or starting a program as a leader, please call our office or email club@campfireusaga.org.
